OVERVIEW 2003-2004

This season we have six meets at SCCC, a six lane 200 meter track with a fast surface, and ample room for field events, and spectators. The site enables us to compete in the long jump and triple jump as scoring events. Our Conference Championships will be held on the six dates we have from Farmingdale State. We will have only two conferences at a time instead of three as in past years. This provides more time so that every athlete has an opportunity to compete in this meet. These two sites and the changes we made will make this season the most complete season Section VIII has ever offered. In addition, we will continue and expand, our developmental program in the pole vault, the high jump, and the shot put on selected evenings at Farmingdale HS.
